JOHN: Nothing too unusual was found in this sample of virgin 3W/30. The trace wear metals we found
are not a problem and the additive package looks good. We often find a trace of insolubles (solids) in
virgin oil samples, though no insolubles were present here. The TBN was very strong at 12.8 and shows
lots of active additive to start with. 1.0 is too low for extended use. This oil should work well for your
engine(s).

Here's a 2004 VOA I saved for comparison:

Moly 116
Boron 153
Magnesium 15
Calcium 3687
Phosphorus 1608
Zinc 1701
Silicone 8

Vi 40c 72.4
Vi 100c 11.3
VI Index 148
TAN 2.63
TBN 9.74

i wonder that too..its been like that for along time...makes you wonder
about the company.i also noticed throughout the years that they are alittle on the stupid side when you talk to them...try calling them and ask about sm oils when it first came out...they had no idea what that was...sm oils was out on the market for 6 months...was so funny!!

Oh it contains some Group III, it must suck. LOL. These small companies dont really care about API cert. RL claims SM which is a good laugh.
