Get a USA made 14mm Craftsman box wrench, and a Craftsman USA 3/8 drive metric ratchet set. Some use a torque wrench to tighten the bolt, those were on sale at Sears maybe still are. I just tighten by feel which has worked fine.

Id make sure to use 6 point sockets/wrenches with oil drain bolts. Other than that, either wrench or socket will do okay. You just need to decide how long of a handle you want. I'd say around 11-15" would be good for most situations. You can do it with a standard 8" handle, but its more effort.

I finally destroyed my HF 1/4 swivel ratchet. I don't know if it was my fault for using it when I should have used 3/8 but I really do like these swivels a lot and will return it for another.
On a side note. Got to say how much I am loving my hf 'professional' 1/4 air ratchet. Think is awesome. In past 3 months I've replaced alternator, ac compressor, water pump/timing belt/pulley's. This 1/4 air ratchet fits in small places and is now probably favorite tool.

With the Lifetime Guarantee if it breaks because you couldn't lube it, or for any other reason just bring it back.
Only trouble with HF swivel is that there is NO way to lube them as they can not be opened by normal methods. I suppose one could soak them in ATF overnight. The 3/8 swivel clicking is more heavier than the 3/8 composite and I would like to make 3/8 swivel click lighter.

Have a Craftsman swivel head 3/8" #42793, it's 4.5 inches longer than a regular 3/8", so better leverage with it.
