Switch From 5W20 To 5W30 : Mileage Factor ?

FWIW, I still use the factory spec'd 5W20 on my Accord. I've thought about switching to 5W30 for easiness since that's what the Infiniti takes. The engine runs great with the 20wt so I don't want to rock the boat either.
My DD fill cap has 5w-20 on it. I been using 5w30 since ~55k. Has 119k on the clock now. 11 months ago I did a OCI of 5w-20 because I was out of 5w30 stash at that time, but then back to 5w30.
Starting at 5w-20, gone to 5w30, later 1 OCI of 5w-20, I was not able to tell any difference.
I also ran a few OCIs a couple years ago also on synthetic, still no difference to me. So mainly Pennzoil Conventional 5w30 most of it's service.

Tig1 : Very helpful to hear valve clearances were within factory spec ... What is your opinion of a vehicle with a timing chain - error on the side of thicker oil or stay the course with a 20 weight ?

Another thick vs thin? With that said I went from Mobil 1 5w30 to Mobil 1 0w20 years ago. Recently I changed the valve cover gaskets on both engines and checked the valve clearance. Both engines were within factory specs.
