I was looking at one of these today in the store and looks a little different than the previous ones I've used. The rubber gasket was definitely taller and wider, I tried to get a look inside the filter but the lighting was bad. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any changes to this fikter.

That is why I always bring a Small Flashlight 2 look the oil filter over.

I think these used to be the regular Champ. Ever since Champion Labs and Fram both became part of First Brands its been a mix match. Could change by the day, and could be different depending on which model.

SuperTech filters are made by Champ Labs. It's a decent filter for the money.
They are generally a high flow filter. Works well on lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers.
Roughly equal to the lower level brand names,

There seems to be a seperate orange dome bypass now on the standard 3614, the MP3614 always had one. I'm wondering if the regular 3614 went from fiber to metal end caps like the MP3614.
