I use it (synthetic) in my Mustang, Cherokee, Freestyle and Kawasaki Mean Streak. No issues with any of them. The longest OCI is in the Freestyle, I change that every 10k. Blackstone suggested 12k, but it's much easier to look at the Odometer and know where I'm at when doing a 10k OCI. The Jeep gets 5k OCI; the motorcycle and Mustang I change yearly, but I'm probably going to start doing the Mustang every other year due to the limited miles it sees.

I've used ST in a few of my cars thru the years in both conventional and synthetic. Last year I decided to try ST 5w30 (non-syn) in my 1992 Saturn. The first time I drove it, I immediately noticed increased valve train noise. I kept it in for the duration of the OCI (6 months) and it stayed noisy the whole time. I don't think any damage was done, but I didn't care for the extra noise.

After that, I went back to my stash of Valvoline HM 5w30 and the noise went away. A friend who had a 2000 Honda had the same complaint, but this is the only car that I've used ST in that didn't "like" it.

The ST in my neck of the woods is made by Warren.

10k...pretty good for an inexpensive oil. Any chance you'll post that UOA?

I have used it on-and-off in the past. Using the synthetic version now in the Santa Fe Turbo (meets the required specs). Never had any concerns because of it; No consumption issues, louder valve-train etc.

Does Supertech have a 0w20 syn oil. I have never seen it in the store or online. I have used their 5w20 and 5w30 without issues in several cars and would like to use it in my 14 Mazda6, but it calls for 0w20.
