It should run the same.. Advanced Auto, Fram, and Supertech all use the same numbering system.

I went to the fram website and typed in ST2870a and the fram filter # is ph2870a and ph4681 also.

One thing I know about wal-mart is that some stores stock alot more filter part numbers over other stores.

I don't think they have 2870 supertech at walmart. I checked that catalog book there and it doesn't list supertech for my VW which uses 2870. I use the STP 2870 which I suppose is the same company that makes supertech(champion?). The numbers should be same because the fram 4967 and supertech 4967 is same which I use on the camry.

I think that's one of the consolidated part #s. If the walmart part seems smaller than what you're used to it might be worth cutting both open and comparing media quantity.

If it helps you might find a cache at some store on clearance...

What does their parts book/computer say your car takes?
