Supercharger grease

Hi All
A bit of advice please. I have a rover v8 with a twin scroll supercharger, unfortunately there is no makings on the supercharger I have emailed the manufacturers of supercharges but no one recognizes it. It was first fitted to a v8 in Saudi Arabia on a 110 land rover. The rear bearings have grease nipples and the grease supplied with the supercharger is Isoflex Topas L32. Bearing in mind that this is a suck through supercharger so the grease sees petrol. Is there an alternative grease I can use. The Isoflex is difficult to source and is expensive, the searches I have done seem to point to this being a specialist grease for cameras etc.

Isoflex Topas l32 is sometimes used in clock maintenance, I've never seen it used in automotive applications. Sorry.

Can't comment on the Isoflex. If it's used in clock maintenance then is this the originally specc'd grease?

I've used a barium complex grease at work before. The tub stated "excellent" resistance to hydrocarbon solvents.

Looking at the data sheet it appears to be a light duty, low temperature, lithium complex NGLI #2 grease made by Kluber. I can't imagine supercharger bearings being "low temperature".

It's used in window mechanisms, gear shifters, seat belt mechanisms, door locks. All are low speed, low load, applications.

The M90 superchargers used in a lot of US vehicles use Nye Rheo Temp 500. Home SC rebuilders often use Red Line CV-2. Note, however, that these are dry superchargers, so solvent resistance is not critical.

Thanks for the replies guys I thought the grease sounded strange when I googled it but it was supplied with the supercharger (Bought secondhand). I have no idea on the origional spec grease. barium complex grease is there a proprietry name I could look for?

Krytox is immune to hydrocarbon solvents and should work great for what you want but it is big time $$$$.
