FWIW, I have a 97 rodeo 3.2L V6 that I've had since new with 200k miles...these engines DO shear oil down pretty fast.

I have 4 UOA's over the last few years, the wear metals on all reports are very low, these are very stout engines that last a long time....but they will shear a weak 30wt down to 20w in a few hundred miles.

I dont know what it is about Warren flavor ST but its wear numbers are always amazing. Id never second guess that house brand.
