this oil filter and unknown oil was on a friends 2018 Chevy Equinox for 6,000 miles. Vehicle has 48k on it as of yesterday when I did oil change. Put AC DELCO filter and Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w20 in and on.

I wonder how long it will be before they figure out they can color the nitrile rubber anti-drain back valve orange to give the illusion of it being made of silicone?

This filter looks very nice after 6,000 miles of use.

The adbv is silicone, it’s very soft and flexible. I’m surprised it looked good.

It’s not WIX. Has texture grip yes.
