Sudden drop in LP tank!

Here is a plot of propane vapour pressure valve temperature between 50 and 100 F . The pressure goes from 100 to 200 psi, but with time some of the actual vapour goes back into solution.
Looks like you would not have a safety blow off event, (> 2500kPa) that would require tank liquid well above 50 degC. And its hard to add that much heat to ~ 3/4 ton of liquid ... then add in the phase change.

That's a giant tank for just hot water heating. We use only about 12-14 gal over six months for a gas range and oven and my wife cooks most every meal ... and bakes. - Arco

Yeah no blow-off. Besides I was around there all day.

Uses:
HVAC Heater - forced air supplemental with heat pump - off. It does come on for ramp when under say 30°F.
Water heating
Fake fireplace - off
Grill - heavy summer use, some winter use
Griddle - summer use mainly

We have been making it April to April, 12 months, for 3 years now. No complaints. I just wanted back on the top off plan and when I called they would say "Yeah, OK" and never change my plan!! This safety guy who called at 8AM said he would change it.
