When I owned our '88 Accord,(had the car for 18 years/340,xxx miles) it had 185-70-13 tires on it and as time went by, the choices for these 13's became fewer and fewer. By the 14th year, the rims were getting pretty corroded and not holding air very well so, I went for a cheap set(4) steelies in 14" and installed 195-60-14 which was the option on this Accord back in '88 anyway. The choices for the 195-60-14's were much better and not much more money. The very last set of tires I put on the car was 185-65-14 just to get the last child through H.S. The math(no pun) for all 3 of these size tires worked out well.
