If you’re truly concerned, the simplest thing to do is just hold the accelerator pedal to the floor and crank the engine for a few seconds. Release the key, lift your foot and start the engine like normal.

I've been running this Baxter adapter on my Crosstrek now for 30K miles (since new) and it took care of all the startup clatter since day one.

You could also just do a remote mount that puts the filter upright off the engine. Kits, adapters, hoses, and mounts are in all the aftermarket stores for hot rodders, boats, etc.
Another thread with a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. Never had an issue with my Subaru or any that I maintain.
