Need one that works on bath tile. I have 2 Zircon, neither works on tile. Installing safety bars.

The good magnets are the only ones that work decent and repeatedly.
I agree. Once I used a Franklin I never used anything thing else since.
Like many here have mentioned, I have an older Zircon that I bought at Home Depot probably around 2005 or so, it was $100 dollars at the time, although the same thing seems to be cheaper nowadays. It has a 9V battery. It has always served me well, I usually double check it, and sometimes have to do a bit of extra scanning to really make sure I'm in the right place, but I am very slow and meticulous anyhow, I'd rather take a bit more time and get it right. I'd say overall it has been very useful, just use a little common sense, and take your time and it gets the job done.
