strut spring compressor

Most people just cut off the away bar links and replace them. The stock sway bar links have a stupid hex key that rusts and strips when it's time to remove it for strut replacement, but many aftermarket links have a wrench flat that makes it easier.

Since the struts had already been replaced at least once before, whoever did it last must've installed new end links. At least the Camry has a folding back seat; the ES300 doesn't.

Anyway, glad you got the new struts on.

No, that looks decent; but once I add up mount and strut I'm basically at the cost of a quick strut. Few bucks more and no effort compressing springs?

Actually, the strut mount seems expensive, like $50-70 per.

If you are not going to do any other cars, then perhaps have someone do it, or try the quick struts. But once you own the spring compressor, you definitely save money doing your other cars. I've have mine for 20 years and have done many cars.
