STP 5w30 SN VOA

Here's a VOA done by Blackstone for STP 5w30. This VOA is not particularly consistent with the PQIA's STP analysis nor my used oil analysis on the same oil done here:

Blackstone said variations in add packs in "store brands" is not uncommon. Anyway, I'll post this for posterity but probably won't be using it much anymore, I want to know what I'm getting! It did run exceptionally well in our Venture, but with coolant contamination it's hard to judge the oil. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use it as a top off oil, it is API SN certified after all.

Blackstone can say what they want. But I am going to put this into the off the mark pile.

Yeah a lot of this looks about 20-25% low and if it is then it pretty much matches the PQIA's analysis.

Still don't understand why my used oil analysis showed virtually no boron when both this VOA and the PQIA's indicated the STP was high in boron.

Since Blackstone did this for free. I will not do too much bashing. At the very least you where able to determine you have a coolant leak on your venture.
