STP 3614 18 months 1000 miles

18 month 1000 mile short tripped infrequently driven vehicle, oil used was Mobil 1 Euro 0W40 in 2008 Chrysler T&C 3.8 V6. Looks like they were a little heavy on the glue but looks and feels well made otherwise. Replaced with same oil and a Supertech 3614 that looks like a champion made filter.

Looks great, glue ain't too bad. It's bad when it's so excessive it can break off then go through the relief.

Now this on blue can on the other hand.

This filter was off a 2023 Ford F-150 with 3.5 v-6 engine for 5k. Not pretty at all.

Yeah, look more like a Premium Guard built filter. What's the date code lettering look like on the can? Does the box say where it was made? Don't think Champ Labs uses a coil spring to hold the guts tight.

Yeah, that's become pretty much my go to oil for just about everything I have anymore.

That filter was made 2023 but it's already long gone in the trash so I can't get the rest of the info off of it.
