Stored car outside, with no stabil.

Has anyone ever stored a vehicle outside with 10% ethanol gas, without adding any stabilizers too it? I had a very small amount of MMO in the gas tank, but nothing else. Im mainly concerned about the freezing and rusting of the fuel lines.

Its been about 6 months since ive started the car, and probably will start it up around April. Any concern here?

Would adding a small amount of stabil to the gas tank do anything without cycling it throught the fuel system?

That's called locking the barn door after the horse is already out. Adding stabilizer to old gas does not make the gas fresh again.

But are you sure the gas has soured? If that is the case, I would siphon all the old gas out and put in fresh gas before I attempted to start it.

I've known of cars that sat years w/o any major problems with the gas going bad and we have had Ethanol gas here forever.

I'll bet that you'll have no problems.
I've had cars sit for more than a year with no fuel stabilizer of any kind added, and had no problems in starting and running them.
I have used Stabil, and it didn't seem to do anything.
I have gas sitting in small engine machines all winter long.
I bring them to life in the spring with a wiff of either, and have no subsequent starting or running problems with them.
There is no doubt that years of sitting may bring problems, but I don't think you'll see any after only six or eight months.

I've stored cars seasonally for 35 years. I don't use stabil and I've never had problems - with neither carburated nor fuel injected engines.
