That water is bad stuff, an overdose can cause death (drowning), or excessive trips to the john! That stuff is LOADED with Vitamin P!! That model needs to take those damaged jeans off, stat!
If your jeans are made in China or some bunghole country - wash them. At least three times. Maybe then we can worry about their toxins and heavy metals ending up in our biome.
Just changed my brake pads and my jeans are full of brake dust, I'll wear it to work tomorrow proudly.

The running joke around our house is, "Pants optional!" Since everyone is working from home so much and attending meetings via zoom and teams, my wife is often wearing dressy clothes on top and sweats on the bottom. Some days, I'm doing good to be wearing more than boxers. I'm pretty sure that global sales of laundry detergent and deodorant are way down...

Part of the time at least. I'm the only one besides the boss that comes into the office any more. Tech workers don't actually need to do their thing from inside an office or cubical.
