Stop Leak - Heat transfer?

Greetings. Quick question. I read a post where several people stated that they used Bars Stop Leak and that it stopped leaks they had. I have always been hesitant to use stop leak products for fear that they might coat surfaces and reduce the transfer of heat (act like an insulator a bit). Any thoughts? I have a very small, very slow, pesky little leak and live in Arizona (very hot). I do not want to lose any cooling capacity.

Use it and don't worry about it. Many automakers include some sort of sealant in the factory fill. Don't use it in excessive amounts. Follow the guidelines on the container.

Never use stop leak. Fix the problem.
