Steering gear 2018 cub cadet?

What do you all put on the gears for the steering to be easier to turn ?
Used some oil in the past but that stuff is messy, just gave it a tune up yesterday, 1st one it has had and it is a 2018 Cub Cadet....

Never would have thought about that.

Looks like I'll be trying a project on my CC in the near future. It steers fine, but the roller wheel bearings have my interest.

It seemed like a fun idea! Real easy & cheap to do so why not?

Exactly that, for under $20 why not. I keep my front end greased, but I like the bearing instead of bushing idea a whole lot.

Pump up the front tire pressure and/or change out to rib tires.

... also, clean and grease all your pivots with a quality EP synthetic grease.
