When posting a title like topic, best practice would be to post some pics of filter internals with it. That way, evidence supports the claim at least for the specific filter in use. Otherwise, some skepticism of title claim to be expected, imo.

I put. Fram extra guard on my 95 neon once, 2002 era. Used quaker state 5w30. Oil light came on, wouldn't go off . Changed filter out, to a Mopar filter, oil light went off
