Here's how I think.

If you drive it only and it's easy to change you may want to consider the cheapest one. Prolly A-Zone or Napa (Prolly too much trouble to warranty the Ebay one).

If your kid is using the car to go to collage or your wife gets off work in the dark and works in the bad side of town you should consider a new one from the stealer.

I just wonder if stealer have new or rebuild and i just find out that NSA starters are new aftermarket, Not Rebuilded and they offer 2 year assistance .. sounds to good to be true

im not sure ... but ... it did ...
And its solenoid ... i give it a shoot and it started ...

Maybe talk to the local starter rebuild place and they may be able to fix what is broken. They will be close to OEM in quality. For my Mercruiser alternator, they were better, the OEM is a Mando (Korea) and their rebuilt was a Delco.

Yeah .. i was thinking about that but ... starter shell looks like bucket of rust .. I think i will sleep better if i will replace it .. :P

Thank you all for some good ideas really appreciated!

I think i just found who is making oem starter its a Mitsubishi
L327-18-400 - any ideas where to look for it ?

If you are sure the solenoid is the only problem you may be able to get an OEM solenoid and replace it yourself, keeping the rest of your starter. Or if you can open the solenoid, fix it yourself. Depends on your time available and skills.

The outside of starter shell shouldn't matter, it should be easy enough to open it (once removed from the vehicle) and inspect inside.
