I was thinking about adding some marker lights to my trailer. It uses the 4 pin connector.

How much more load can the wiring safely support?

It currently has just the standard rear stop/turn/tail. I'm looking to add 4 markers that draw 0.33 amps each.

the wiring has weathered so I cant read a awg wire size, but from my guess it is either a 16 or 18 awg.

Adding an additional 1.3 amps shouldn't put you over the limit, but check what your trailer wiring is fused at and take your existing lights into account.

Change your lights over to LEDs so you don't have worry about current draw.

well I added 4 amber and 4 red. Did some night hauling and it handled the extra load just fine
