Anyone here use Stabil Diesel Fuel Stabilizer long term? Finding it hard to find any worthwhile information or reviews on the stuff.

Looking at it more from a cleanliness and preventative maintenance factor than fuel stabilisation.

Since diesel fuel doesn't evaporate very easily, the biggest issue with long term storage would be bacterial growth. This would take a long time to develop, like a year or more, unless stored in a container that has water in the bottom. If that water had bacterial growth previously it would regrow more easily. The fuel would also grow bacteria more easily if it were stored at warmer temps.
Other than that, the fuel should be quite stable.

Like I said in my original post. I'm not looking at it from a fuel maintenance point of view but keeping the fuel system operating at it's best.

Diesel bug doesn't seem to be an issue in the UK. I'm unsure if out BS EN590 fuel already has additives to inhibit the growth or it's out ambient temperatures?

There is no need to do anything to diesel for long term storage. It does not behave like gasoline in storage. IMO, buy good fuel and run it. If you prefer add some injector cleaner every so often but it is not necessary especially if the engine is running fine. Fuel filters are your friend with a diesel, especially HPCR units.

just my $0.02

If I lived in the UK I'd run Millers Diesel Power ECOMAX

I run Archoil 6900-DMax. It's like Millers Ecomax but contains an ester based lubricant instead of the mineral based lubricant in the Millers. It also contains ferrocene which lowers the temperature in which ignition starts in not only the diesel, but any remaining soot. I like it! But, I'm always open to trying other things which is why I asked about the Stabil diesel.
