the first time i bought sta-bil i bought it to get the bottle. two days ago K-Mart had sta-bil on sale 32 oz size for $3.50. so i bought 5 ea. i realy like the bottle, i keep my MMO in it. Soooooo as an experiment i put some sta-bil in an AL pan, it was hard to set on fire, i had to heat it up. then when it caught on fire it made a very large amount of black carbon. it got a large fan that i had to clean it. if you want to try burning it use only 2-4 oz AND have a cover to put it out if you dont like all the black carbon. course i had a 3-A:40-B-C type A size 2, type B:C size 1 fire extinguisher,handy. there i no such thing as a TO BIG of fire extinguisher.

Big bottles or StaBil may not be a bargain as once opened it has a shelf life of 2 years. Was this red, blue or tan StaBil? I only buy blue.

yea tom that would be good. but its all i can do to get on the internet. oh yea i did look up the CAS # 64742-47-8. but i didnt learn much.
