Go down w/them?K&N seems to be well stocked currently but I wonder where they are going since Fram and Champ are going away....![]()
I hope they are looking ahead for their own sake...Go down w/them?![]()
The world is a cluster right now & we're all drugged into by the "people in charge".I hope they are looking ahead for their own sake...
Why bring @KCJeep into this ???The world is a cluster right now & we're all drugged into by the "people in charge".![]()
In reality this Ultra worshipping crowd turned into a Fram bashing forum so we shouldn't shed any tears eh? They just couldn't leave well enough alone and keep taking our money....dumbThe world is a cluster right now & we're all drugged into by the "people in charge".![]()
Before the Ultra was loved the acronym OCOD was used with malice and jeers. In reality this Ultra worshipping crowd turned into a Fram bashing forum so we shouldn't shed any tears eh? They just couldn't leave well enough alone and keep taking our money....dumb
They made pennies and threw away millions...
That was the most vocal of the group... the uninformed...Before the Ultra was loved the acronym OCOD was used with malice and jeers.
I did the same. I was one of the people to cut a new one openNo Honda filters at my local Walmart either. Based on positive reviews on other threads, I just spent a whopping $2.45 on an Ecogard X4610 from Amazon for my CR-V.

Guarantee K&N is talking to Premium Guard, got to get those silly, dangerous nuts stuck on those filters…I hope they are looking ahead for their own sake...
Whip City Wrencher just released a YT video comparing a new STP S7317 filter to a new Carquest R84356MP filter. Both are for Hondas. He gave a slight edge to the Carquest due to the STP having some blue paint overspray inside the filter can, although under the microscope, he gave a slight edge to the STP filter media. Both were very close. I would choose the Carquest if only planning on running 5k miles' OCIs or less. It also beats the STP on price, especially if you order online using a discount code and get a case of 12.I don't know about the quality, but they offer a less-costly version, part number R84356MP, for around $4.99 each, but this may be the price when buying a dozen. Personally, I'm going to spend the extra few bucks for the higher quality.
Now what? Back to square 1. Bosch went to Mexico, I don't take filters apart, but can see the difference just looking.
Don't know where to begin. AGAIN!
Decent quality for a low price, with availability.
