2nd oil change on a Nissan kicks.
I thought I’d see a lot of sparklies as the first change was full of glitter but nothing visible this time. Car has 5k miles on it I now.
Other than it’s sooo small the ST6607 looked great. No ripples and no light seen through the ADBV with a flashlight.

Forgot to get the date code but I bought it very recently. Like maybe a month ago or something.

That 6607 has a lot of filter media. Some of those things are so tiny inside that I'm afraid to use them. I'd have no problems using this one. I have been buying the 7317 just because I was afraid the media was too small. It's a tight squeeze to put the 7317 on my 4-cylinder Nissan.

It looks fine and bypass piece seal area looks better than many. Good that no light seen with flashlight test. The close relative MP7317 I c&p showed light.

Thanks for c&p.

I thought Nissans used the ST9688 filter? I have done a couple oil chnages last few years in Nissans and that is what they used (Frontier trucks though, so different engine I'm sure.)

I have one of these in my Stash for the Mazda's, but the ST catalog says it doesn't fit. I do believe that's just an oversight.

most Nissans suv/trucks call for a 7317

most of the cars call for a 6607

Silly rabbit. I’d use a 7317 on all Nissans if I could
