Southwest is fine.
Southwest (LUV) had the worst on-time performance and the greatest percentage of canceled flights of any of the nation's four major airlines in June and July, according to flight tracking service Cirium. Passengers weren't the only fliers upset at Southwest: Unions for the pilots, flight attendants and mechanics have all voiced complaints about Southwest's operations.
"To any Southwest customer whose journey with us fell short of their expectation this summer, we offer our sincerest apologies," said a statement from outgoing Southwest CEO Gary Kelly. "We're confident these adjustments will create a more reliable travel experience."

They're a real airline unlike Spirit and Frontier, so they really shouldn't be lumped in with those two. If they have a mechanical or flight crew issue, it isn't going to cause a domino effect for days like what we saw on Spirit. Everything is screwed up right now.

We did pre flight quarantines at airport hotels I was used to staying at. Lots of time looking out the window
Nothing looked normal including seeing these yellow planes picking up routes …

Please don't misquote me.

I once flew Air Tran from Baltimore to Mobile via somewhere down South.
My first flight was almost an hour late to the gate. I asked the attendant at the gate if I would need to arrange a new connection since I'd likely miss my second flight.
He said: "No, the schedule is just a suggestion. Your connecting flight will be late too."
I never flew them again.
