Have you ever heard of Osage Orange trees, AKA Monkey Ball tree?
It's a very old remedy for spiders as they act as a repellent. They will eventually rot of course, so will need to be replenished.

I’m different than most folks… Snakes don’t bother me. Spiders on the other hand…

BASF WSG - mix it and spray the walls. It kills pretty much all manner of creepy crawlies.

A single packet is around 8 or 9 bucks on the Great Big Bezos Online Flea Market and Emporium. A single packet (makes a gallon) will treat a whole house infested with roaches, and knock them into submission for a VERY long time. It's the stuff professional exterminators use.
