My daughter just collected a silver medal in the swimming competition at the national Special Olympics summer games in Orlando. She will swim in two more events later this week and has a good chance to grab a gold in the IM. If any of you are or have been competitive swimmers at a high level the training is grueling. Many of the events in all the sports are televised on one of the ESPN channels. I believe there are more than 5,000 athletes participating and 10,000 volunteers. Disney has been a great host.
