Spark plug photos

Pulled 1 plug this morning, thought you car nerds may enjoy it. Plug on top is one that i removed after 60k of use..the one on botttom is after around 20k use

I've never seen sparkplugs with an electrode that is a loop welded to both sides of the threaded body.

What did they come out of?
Champion bragged that THEIR replacement spark plug didn’t break. What they didn’t tell you was that their plug was wore out at 20K miles.
 
Too bad Denso and NGK don't make iridium plugs for this application :(

Rock Auto has SKP iridium plugs for your Mustang. I would actually try them if I was ever had a 3V Ford. Iridium is a MUST if at all possible, and Autolite and Champion don't know how to make spark plugs anyway, so the SKP can't really be any worse, only better :sneaky:

The infamous Ford 3-valve spark plug design that likes to leave the bottom half of the plug in the motor when you remove them. What a wretched design, I cringe every time I see one.
