First time doing something like this here, but I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.

I bought this amp to go in my '90 MasterCraft Prostar 190 and decided I really wanted a 5 channel amp instead to save space.

The board is conformal coated with gold plated connectors. It would work fine in a car as well. These amps are known for being right on rating unlike a lot of amps you see on the market, like Rockville or others.

It's a 4 channel amp with 60W RMS x4 @ 4 ohms or 70W RMS x4 @ 2 ohms. It can be bridged to 3 channel mode but not 2 channel mode. Below are some pictures and specs as well as a link to Sony's website on the amp.

I'm looking for $175, I'll pay for shipping.

Link to Sony.

That Sony XM-604M got pretty good reviews from what I saw. It's been discontinued for a while but that doesn't mean anything. I have some REALLY old stuff that still works nicely. Crutchfield has some good options if you want 5 or 6 channel. Their support is awesome if any issues.

You probably know but some things I learned over the years, one big factor for overall is the signal to noise ratio (S/N) and total harmonic distortion (THD). I had swapped some old Kenwood amps for some newer Alpine PDX versions. Hated them no matter how much I tried. They were rated with more power etc but the S/N was like 78dB and the noise floor hissing on quiet sections of music was horrible. The 97 dBA on yours should be MUCH better for users. I had an issue with one of the Alpine's so sent in for repair, I put my like 20 year old Kenwood back in to keep me rocking and was like why the F did I change originally. Repaired Alpine came back and I removed the other Alpine and sold both. Put the second older Kenwood back in and much happier.

My son has a JL Audio in his Forte, it sounds good but the AudioControl I put in my daughters CRV is just so much cleaner sounding.

I don't know if the 50 watts is enough for you for main speaker but based on my daughters sound I would try this AudioControl ACX-650.5

Thanks for the info! It's an older amp for sure but it was solid when it came out. I've seen some of the the AudioControl equipment and it's good stuff.

I'm thinking about pulling out my oscilloscope and doing a deep dive into my new amp when it comes in, we will see if I do or not. It's a lot of extra work. However, I may use it to set my gains instead of doing it by ear or via calculations.

My new amp is an Infinity M4555A 5-channel marine amp. Here's a link to its manual.
