I am going through the truck doing all fluids and to my surprise the manual has nothing about what fluid or how much the manual transmission holds. So maybe you guys can help. Do I need to change it and what type/how much? It's the 4cyl 5speed combo. Yr is a 2000.

If youre working in a shop, dont you have access to alldata or some other FSM/equivalent type database?

Like I said it wasn't in the owners manual even . And we do but our version of all data is kinda vague. ....i didn't find anything .....come to think of it though synchromesh would make sense.
Any idea on a service imterval?

Looks like it's in the manual?

The Pennzoil Synchromesh could be acceptable, depending on the GM # specced.

That page is no where in my manual...weird. And I apologize using the forum as intended. You realize as things change so does the fluid you recommend. What you recommended 5 yrs ago may not be the same as what you would say today thus explaining why I made a new post.

Your workplace manuals should be your first reference. Then Google. If you can't find the info in those places then it would be reasonable to ask here. After all most of us don't know this stuff anyway and are Google-ing it for you.

This is the only board I'm on that [censored] about asking a question. Besides that I wanted opinions on the best fluid for it ect. Thought a nice discussion would be fine. The level of uprightness with some folks on here is amazing.

In this case though, he is a paid professional who is asking others to do his research. It would be useful to learn the research skills needed in case this forum is not accessible.
