Someone selling crashed SR-71 parts on eBay

It looks like someone dug up wreckage from an SR-71 (tail #61-7970, pilots survived) crash site and is now selling it on eBay.

I'd love to own a piece of an SR-71, but I'm not sure if the 'finders-keepers' rule applies here.

This part here is supposed to be a filtering unit of some sort, gold plated too!

Lord, the things you can find on ebay.
How would you or the seller authenticate it?
Pretty sure it remains USAF property legally if it is authentic.

Looks properly demilled to me. Pretty sure it's not bolting back into place any time soon.

ya know, usually I think this sort of thing is the errand of fools, but it is the SR-71
something that still has classified bits 70 years later
