I usually do a blotter spot test every other tank of gas to see what is what. This car is a Chevy 350 that is driven twice a day, ordinarily, just long enough to warm up and probably once a week for longer. Between the first and second sample, i went on a road trip and drove at highway speed for about 4 hours. More or less 200 mi. Does it appear to you that the inner ring of solids actually decreased or is it just an optical illusion because the oil is a little darker.

I guess I should say that the first number is the car mileage and the second number is the oil mileage. The oil is Havoline and the filter is a Frantz.

Are you left handed, like me?

I think the ring is smaller due to a smaller amount of oil being used. The ring is smaller. The proportions look right.

Old business cards. They are about 100 lb. weight and are very consistent in terms of composition.
