I think thermal solar made a lot more sense before the price of PV dropped.

That and it killed a pile of birds and required a boatload of gas to get it going in the morning. PV makes a lot more sense these days,

Good riddance. Was a bad idea from the start. Hundreds of thousands of articulated mirrors in the middle of a dust bowl? Only made 75% of the power promised with much higher emissions. Massive loss of wildlife and habitat that is supposed to be the end all for Greens.

It really is hard to describe just how massive that operation is if you haven't seen it in person.
