Because of how popular Xenforo is, there are plenty of add-ons to handle lots of features, including this one.

This is something small but I notice it when it's missing is when the OP of a long thread replies, it shows that the specific person is the original poster/thread starter. Maybe it's subtle and I'm missing it but that is a nice feature to have on.
This is what it looks like on another Xenforo forum I use...

I've noticed that some users have Avatars (non-sponsor/veteran/donor), is this something that's being rolled out? Black squares everywhere is taking away from the aesthetic of the board.

Seems some got avitars during the changeover, not sure where they came from.
I wish they would do the default avitar that XF does (the initial of the poster).

The veteran/sponsor/military BITOG avatars that you’re used to have been added. LE/First responder have been added. If you’d like one, let me know.

XenForo imported some “gravatars” from other XenForo sites. Since we’re not allowing individual avatars beyond the categories above, those are being cleaned up.

Click on your name in upper RH corner of the page ... a menu will drop down and you'll see "Signature" in the list.
