Forgive me if this was already posted, but on the old layout it would bold sub-forums with unread posts. How does this system do it?
Still works the same for me. However, if you haven't clicked "Mark forums read" button, then you may be seeing every sub-forum in bold right now.
It looks pretty slick now.
One thing I've noticed is that if an old BITOG thread link was saved on your computer (ie, bookmark or manually saved) it will no longer work. That probably also means any links to any old BITOG threads in people's posts will not work.
Just letting you know the new board would not accept my password. I reset it and now I am back in, but it definitely had an issue.
Not an issue. It was communicated beforehand that users would need to reset their passwords post upgrade.

Luckily remembered the obscure email I used to register 18 years ago.
It may have been a good idea to blat out a mass email *before* the migration, then post here saying if you haven't gotten the email, you're going to get locked out.
On a plus if I edit something I don't have to go uncheck the "mark as edited" box. That was a dumb extra step.
The Readers Digest Large-type edition is hard to get used to.
I used to type
for smilies and it seems to have migrated to some ANSI-standard smiley pack.
And my oil burning lamborghini seems to have disappeared. Yup, that was me. Took the wrecking ball one and ran it through some gif editor adding those clouds of blue. But there's a poo emoji now.

The more I look at it the less I like it especially the like button.
I do not want to be tied up in some sort of competitive "reaction rating", it doesnt get more kindergarten than that. A way to disable it for members who don't want it would be a nice feature.
