Same here, my 5th winter with the General Altimax Arctics (studded). Have had no issues with freezing rain events in 3rd and 4th winters. Still lotsa tread since I only average 6,000 miles per year for all four seasons. I will keep an eye on their performance this winter. DOT says that my tires are xx09 (2009 manufacture date).
