Neighbor asked me to pick him up from the Merc dealership so he could get his E class serviced.
So I did....
At every stop sign he asked me what motor oil I use because he can't even hear the engine run...
I told him I usually use Castrol Magnatec but I'm using up my Kendall GT1 to get rid of it.

It's a Ford C Max Hybrid

I would like everyone here to add a snapshot of theirs.

Riding my $10K, fully custom, road racing bicycle across country; all on secondary roads, the more climbing the better. 23 straight days, 2900 miles, 130 miles per day average, 90,000 feet of climbing total, rain or shine. Only one flat tire!!!

My wife asked why the car was so loud. So, I rolled up the windows and she was impressed with how much quieter it was!

I'll explain it.
It was a mini snapshot of my day today.
I'm sure others had like instances.

Every time I step out my door my neighbors have a chore for me to do.
They are capable of doing it themselves and are younger too.

So now when I see them I holler over first and ask them if they have a money for me.....

Now they all hide when I'm outside.....

Problem solved.

In the spirt of the OP's request:

NOTE: In display work tasks are frequently divided Left-right or High-low.
MEANING: If you do the exacting work on one side of the venue, someone else does the fetching and double checking. OR If you're on the ladder hanging stuff, someone else hooks things on your lift line and double checks the blueprint.
Then you switch duties on the other side.

Got that?

SNAPSHOT: I busted my lower back measuring out the locations of power supplies which needed to be mounted on frameworks (neon light set-ups). Measuring clearances, center punching, drilling, wiring, neatening up etc....all on a ladder.
My helper disappeared then showed up when I got to the other side expecting me to do his work.
He was the boss's son.

I got a 3/8" swivel-head ratchet today.
Surprise: the thing is about as long as my index finger.

It can be expensive to read Trav's posts. Y_K in a thread mentioned "ratchets by Tone".
One thing led to another. I ordered an RH3FCHS; I thought 90mm sounded decently long.

I think I have to make a rule: buy nothing after 8pm.

The whole "being retired" seems overrated. I've witnessed more ppl. unhappy and feeling "useless" when they've retired, that they ended up taking odd jobs just to feel useful again.

I think the key to happiness to work a regular schedule which allows regular free time/exploration into personal interests.

I guess that depends on the individual. I for one like being able to do what I want, when I want. My wife concurs.
