They just work. Don't know what else to say and I haven't seen any defects but I'm not looking at it under a microscope either. Don't use it if you don't like it.

I just eyeball down the center of the electrode and it's obvious if it's centered or not. This has been going on for many years and doesn't seem to be getting better. Having said that, I don't use Champion any more (what's the point?) so the amount that I find / see is significantly less.
Some pics are in this thread but it's much easier to see it in person, difficult to get a good picture. I think if you can't make a circle round (concentric) then what else are you not doing?
Some Champions from today.
Two more Champions from this week. All get replaced with reliable, concentric, NGK platinums.

They can be bent to center before installing, just like they can be bent to gap. Done. Silly thing to condemn a standard electrode plug over. And it most likely doesn't affect the spark and ignition of gas.
You can't bend the center electrode without breaking it. It's not the ground-strap that's off center.
The motor still runs with the off-center electrode. Like I've said before I've had more reliability issues from NGK than Champion. Buy what you want.
