Getting ready to R&R 2013 Fiesta B5 Transmission. What is a good brand of Slave Cylinder Assy to buy?
OEM / Interchange Numbers: 3182654145, SB60330

I have always been surprised by how clean the slave cylinder fluid was when I periodically flushed all the fluids. The brake fluids always looked really dark. Maybe having the slave cylinder inside the bell housing helps keep the fluid clean. That said I never liked the indefinite feel of that concentric slave/throw out bearing compared to cars that have the slave outside operating a long lever.

There's no corrosion or metallic wear that occurs in plastic clutch hydraulic systems, which is what contaminates the fluid. It stays pretty clean forever

Here's where I learned a lesson, ordered a slave through RA for an old Toyota truck- I banked on reboxed product as the LUK item had a photo of a Aisen unit......NOT, china made. Next time will order the right product, no shortcuts. Not to say this slave will not perform it's a decent brand, but I do have my preference.

I'm sure it's just a result of the manufacturer rebranding. I ordered a Carter fuel pump for my Jeep and got an Airtex pump with Carter stickers. Most expensive stickers I bought!

It also doesn't deal with near the amount of heat that's typical with any brake system.
