Look on the handles of the Green Handled screwdrivers,made in France made by Facom.Some of the pliers are this way,made in France or Germany.Facom bought out SK in 1985.

I understand they used to be connected but since 2005 SK has been privatley owned.

tom is correct,

Facom was bought out by the employees of SK. They still purchase some items from Facom (palm ratchets, some screwdrivers, etc.) but most of the ratchets, and all of their sockets and non-gear wrenches are good old American made tools. I have a box full of them.

Their closed ratcheting wrenches are made in Taiwan and they hold up the best.I have seen one of their combination ratcheting wrenches with a bent handle and still works.It was put on a cheater bar which it was tested this way
