Hi,

We have a small propane and charcoal grill that works great for doing what we want grill-wise. However, in the day to day, we like to cook steaks, fish, etc. on a cast-iron. THe way we cook comes out well but it is SMOKY!

Id like to get a single cast-iron propane burner that I can have on my deck to cook up stuff in my cast iron pot. I dont want a huge grill with a side burner, I just want a movable, stand alone cast-iron, made in the USA propane burner that I can hook up to my BBQ grill tank and do some cooking in my cast iron skillet.

We keep the grill indoors so it stays like new for longer, plus we dont grill that often, so it would just be a waste of space on our deck - but this item we could use year-round.

Ive seem a number of different ones, with BTU ranges from 15000 to 150000, but Id appreciate some reccomendations of something simple and made in the usa.

Thanks,

JMH

Thanks,

I considered the stove like you reccomended, but they didnt have what I want... Essentially, I want

but in a size that is more like 20000 or 30000 BTU, so I can get my cast iron pot real hot, slap a steak down, and not miss a beat!
Thanks!

I was thinking of that - essentially I want a high quality burner from an old gas range... however I need it to be on a stand and correct so as to not ignite/melt my deck!
