Silverado dies while idling

TPS was $50 to replace and took 15 minutes. We`ll see what happens

Still dying. Going to replace fuel pump and CPS.

If it is the fuel pump, you should be able to hear it stop if you put your ear to the tank. Probably takes 10-20s between fuel pump stopping and engine shutting off.

A weak or dying battery can cause stalling. How old is the battery/any issues with it? Free testing at certain places like Autozone/Advance although I've seen them fail perfectly fine batteries.

Battery and alt and cables are less than 18 months old. I have been driving around with the scangauge attached to catch a code, and the electrical system is fine.

Had the same issue on my 02 Silverado. It was the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum line off, and if it is wet with fuel, it's bad. Common problem, and aasy to change.
