Finally got around to changing the cabin air filter on my 2020 Silverado with 63,800 miles. Could have been worse.

Those later model Silverados are a pain to get to.
I’m surprised you think so. I don’t find them hard at all. For those who don’t know, on the T1X trucks you pull down the glovebox, unlatch the shock absorber and let the glovebox swing down. Then it’s a plastic door that slides after a catch is released.

K2xx were about the same but annoying with 5-6 torx screws to remove.

I've had worse here in NY. By the end of fall, they get loaded with bits of dried up leaves. I just bang out the leaves, and re-install if there not loaded with dust/dirt. But, the one in the pic was a bit overdue. I would have replaced that one in that condition.

It wasn't that hard. Had to do a little prying with a long screwdriver to get the shock absorber off and then to pry the left side of the box to get the box out because it was a little stiff from the cooler weather. I replaced it with a SuperTech from Walmart. Fit was just fine. I probably won't go as long, probably 30-40k on this one. With our humidity, we don't have a lot of dust.

Yep, you have some serious humidity in Alabama no doubt :(...I can't stand New York's humidity in the summer. Probably 10X worse in Alabama. It does keep the dust down though. Tough to even breathe when humidity is high :(
