I didn't get a quote, because I know this garage, and they are good guys. It's a bunch of 40 year old's who drive big 4x4 trucks. Perfect place to get my 3500HD serviced. I don't think $450 was totally out of line. They did a good job. Removing the transmission pan is a bit of work because of the exhaust pipe. The truck came with the "snow plow prep package" so it has a big skid plate covering up much of the work as well. At the end of the day, I think $450 was "fair" for everyone involved. They made plenty of money, and I wasn't gouged too bad......
