Silicone sealant attack

Last thursday we had the big window of our building smashed...$2,000 replacement.So we came in on monday expecting to see it smashed again - but no,they had smashed the window of our tractor department 50 metres up the road,smashed the phone box,the window of the shop next door,the windscreen of a Mitsubishi 380 in the yard,then gone into town and did a couple more.
Three 14 year olds,one of them a girl.There will be a family meeting with those involved,they will say they are sorry,their parents will say they are good kids,and they will do 3 weeks of community service instead of going to school.
That'll teach 'em!

I don't think it long before vigilantes pop up in Oz.
People being put into comas walking home from the pub etc. etc.
Local policeman was telling me the other day that they can't lock anyone up overnight, as after some deaths in custody int he Northern Territory of drunk people left in a cell to sober up, if they put someone in the paddy wagon, they MUST charge them.

I used to have a real nice Jack Roush F150. It was stock except for a 70 dollar Pioneer CD Player.
Some punks busted both side windows, and jacked up the dashboard to steal the stupid radio.

A mate of mine had his AM radio stolen out of his Lada.It was a genuine Lada radio too.Maybe AM radios are really sort after...??

Dang , I have lived near Detroit all my 52 years and never a victim of a crime, nor any family members. Definatley sounds like a youth or gang problem.

There appear to be fads as prank go in Oz. You might have told me of the offroad trick. Unreel someone's winch and wrap it around the vehicle a few times then jump out the solenoid. IIRC, it shortened the thing a few inches before the winch stalled or the battery ran down. I could see someone also putting a vehicle in a tree that way.

My colleagues told me that if they were serious (as my colleagues are), my doors would have been siliconed shut, negated by the door lock barrels pumped full of the stuff, and a silicone firebird logo on the bonnet.

Many places could use wildlife cams. It helps with all the critters lurking around.
It could have been worse.
Back in high school there was this guy and his friends, horribly stuck up, Better than everyone else. Treated people like peons, parents of course thought they could do no wrong. The head jerkoff got a brand new Porsche for his 16th birthday.
They keyed the freshly painted Camaro of a good friend of mine, a 6K paint job. Well, the head jerkoff did.
My friends may or may not have decided to get even.
What was or wasn't done??
Break into the car.
Put JB weld in the ignition keyhole
put JB weld very liberally on both door lock mechanisms and strickers
Close doors.
Fill all outer keyholes with JB Weld.
