I bought the last two Puro Classic filters at Meijer on clearance for 84 cents. One has the round holes in the center tube, one have the louvers in the center tube. I really do not need them as I have about 8 filters already for my Accord. With that said, should I cut them up and post, use them, donate them?

Cut them and post them but i would not use them make sure you get some good shots of the center tube and see how easily they tear when new. Or if you can bring them back and get a refund that would be ok also.
The 84 cents is not worth my gas to return them but I was planning to cut them and do a side by side of the center tube and media to see what was all changed.
I would probably use the louvered one for 5k miles without too much worry. What model are these though? If they are not known for tearing, I wouldn't worry about it.
Cut them open and see if Purolator made a change for the better. Publish the results one way or the other.
