Wait...never mind...because I wouldn't go.

Have used SeaFoam for so long I can't remember, and have never had anything bad happen.
The local wrench's use it all the time to clean out carbon before changing plugs or tune-ups.
Two local boat shops use it instead of other popular gas stabilizer because they were having problems with it.

10oz added to oil won't clean out any harder than PP would.

And guess what??? I still use STP!!!

That is an assembly lube, it was sold as an additive. Assembly lubes are a cheaper option to using a special high Zinc break in oil.

Ask in the additives section as the Clevy club sell them, stick them on the front bumper not the back as boy racers like them. Nothing frightens a driver more than being followed by a car with fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror and " STP rules OK" or "Moo oil lover" stickers on the bumbers.
For the rear of the car, nothing beats wiring up the red eyes of a nodding dog on the back shelf to the brake lights!!

No, its an engine oil supplement, hence the name; E.O.S.- Engine Oil Supplement. Now marketed as assembly lube, which it also does very well. Same stuff different lable, been around a long time.

Perfect for older flat tappet engines with high ZDDP levels balanced with a hefty dose of Ca.

I suspect it is the same product as GM don't have any spare cash at present for any R&D, but if it says Assembly lube on the bottle that is what it is best for. It's best to use an oil high in Zinc if you need some extra for an old flat tappet engine, it also saves doing the arithmetic in terms of how much is needed or causing an interaction with a non GM oils add pack. I presume the EPA folks insisted on the big lettering for Assembly lube, as they were not happy about the exhaust fouling.

That's interesting as it might have been an action against GM itself in the US. Now I understand why you can still use a Lead supplement in race oils, as I thought it was a no go additive.
It appears you can sell anything in most markets that does not directly kill the buyers and when the authorities get angry they seem to target advertising laws more often than any product use dangers.
